Almost all of my students walk to school in the morning. I greet my students every day as they come into my class. I see their smiles and their desire to learn. The greatest part about seeing their smiles is that I see their smiles grow and change over time. They smile because they learn something new or they smile because they have just read a really good book. I have a very diverse class, but one thing is the same about all of my students and that is they are eager to learn and they are excited about school. The classroom is a stable environment for them. They know that at school they are safe and they have someone they can talk to. I want to provide a fun and safe environment for my students so they continue to stay excited about school. It is one thing that will stay constant in their life.
