We have seven students within our classroom all day. They have disabilities ranging from autism, intellectually challenged, and severe hyperactivity. They all have difficulty maintaining attention to their activities within small groups and centers. Even large group time, at circle time, they need a way to minimize distractions so they can concentrate on the activity in front of them, not to the sides or behind them. Also, the providers present a way to display learning materials on them while they are also blocking distractions. Our school has general education classrooms as well as three special education classrooms (other than the Resource Center).
