Cooperative, hands-on learning is essential to student success. My 3rd grade math and science students love learning through the use of manipulatives, projects, and experiments with their peers. My school is in a rural, low income, Title I school. My students love hands-on learning experiences. They enjoy working in groups and collaborating with their peers. Because of budget cuts, classroom resources are very limited. The funding of this project would allow me to better provide hands-on learning experiences with peers.
