My students need material to read that will encourage them to read. I need relevant reading sources so that my students can desire to go deep into their reading. I need resources that allow my students to ask questions and really reflect up on their reading. This project is requesting Choices and Scholastic Action magazine subscriptions. I will use these magazines to challenge my students to read and evaluate the reading material. The magazines will help my students' reading comprehension. I want students to become engaged in their reading. I am constantly pushing my students to become readers who ask questions, evaluate a text, form an opinion, and then communicate that opinion effectively. Choices and Scholastic Action magazines can help me accomplish that goal.
