Whenever students encounter a new text, they are asked to effectively annotate the reading to develop a deeper understanding. With a projector, I will be able to model good examples of annotating and better develop this skill in my students. Additionally, a projector will foster more opportunities for students to work more collaboratively and engage with technology more frequently. Students will be able to utilize online educational tools to create projects and use the projector to display their work to their peers. A projector in my classroom (and a cart to easily move it) can transform daily lessons and improve literacy among my students!
