I teach Special Education at a Title 1 Charter School which means our funds are very limited. My classroom consists of scholars with special education needs in grades Pre-K through 2nd. My scholar's eligibility's include Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, and Speech Disorders. We currently do not have any tablets in our classroom. We do have a couple Chromebooks but because of the severity of their disabilities they cannot use a keyboard and mouse. The touch screen on the iPad would be a great resource and allow them to access so much more.
