Active sitting creates a secondary focus, which results in kids learning better and becoming more productive. Flexible seating allows students to choose how best they learn. Different seating allows one’s knees, hips, and back to find comfortable and ever-changing positions. From sitting on the floor, to a wobble stools, to exercise balls, to standing, students have the option to choose how they want to work. Ideal for students with ADD or ADHD since it provides an outlet for restlessness and extra energy. Students will enjoy flexible seating as note-taking, seatwork, and table activities are no longer sedentary activities. Students won't even realize how this helps them to better focus, resulting in an increase in student achievement.
