I teach 5th grade Reading and Social Studies in a single gender boys classroom. We participate in the gender division in order to better cater to the needs of all learners. At any given time, the boys are moving throughout the room to complete assignments. The boys are in constant motion and collaboration with their peers in the classroom to create a community and culture of learning! Our school has adopted the one-to-one technology initiative. Each student is equipped with their own iPad to use in the classroom and at home to complete school work.

About my class
