My sixth grade students are awesome kids. I serve a very diverse community culturally, economically and academically. My students are very eager to learn, as long as I keep it interesting. They are technology natives, from my gifted/talented students to the ones that struggle academically. Many students have their own personal devices at home while others have no access; both groups love to have their hands on educational technology. The standards at my school are set pretty high for a well-rounded student. The students are expected to strengthen their academic skills as well as their character. While they are children and none perfect, they are amazing students who strive to meet these expectations daily.
