I teach a group of energetic, eager, and joyful second-grade students in a proud and vibrant neighborhood on the west side of Chicago. All of my students speak two languagesEnglish and Spanish! Our classroom is bilingual, and every day we celebrate how empowering and exciting it is to be able to speak, read and write in more than one language. The classroom is a happy and supportive space, and we are very fortunate to have access to some technology and other tools to help us learn. However, we are still in need of some more supplies to help the students become brilliant, bilingual, world-changers!
