By working with and playing games with these puzzles, independently or in small groups, the students will increase their reading ability and confidence enabling them to move up in reading level. Since they have limited life experiences to draw upon when learning it is critical they become better readers. Being able to read more difficult books (science and social studies) will open up a new world for them. Students who are confident in their reading abilities will be ready the face the challenges of higher education and the work place. They will also be able to complete a job application.

About my class
