We are readers and authors in Room 113! We are working on building our literacy skills so that we become voracious readers and skillful writers who seek adventure and knowledge amidst the pages we read and write. Each day we are learning to develop our skills as readers and writers. We learn to implement reading strategies through the careful reading of literary and informational texts. As writers, we use our reading texts as mentors so that we can develop an author's craft.
