Students are constantly requiring challenges to improve their learning. Experiencing a tactile instruction while having the appropriate technology at their fingertips will allow them to further develop critical thinking skills along with widening an overall understanding of specific literature that is part of core standards. Students can then apply said knowledge into tangible manipulatives, visuals, and concepts. These may include but are not limited to: life cycle stages, dioramas, fossil types, underground geiser models, landforms, solar system, axis and orbits, volcanoes, human anatomy and organ models, plant anatomy models, and rock formation models. According to our Montessori philosophy, we as instructors, are to develop the child's thinking in a way that embraces each child's understanding and sets forth achievable goals that continually increase in difficulty. Having access to a 3D printer would be more than a golden addition to our campus.
