My students are very fortunate to live in a community where we have a school district that thrives on excellence. Our mascot, a lion, reminds us to take PRIDE in everything we do. We are always searching for ways to improve techniques, motivate students, involve our community, and increase learning. Having a positive, classroom community is always a top priority. In my class, we have flexible seating options for students to be able to read and work comfortably. These students are hard working, vibrant minded, fifth graders. They love to come together for open, honest reflection whether we're talking about how we did on a math test or what we should do if we see bullying. We are a family in room 308.
