Hi! Welcome to our classroom community! My classroom is made up of a students who learn on a variety of levels and in an abundance of ways. My lessons attempt to engage each and every student and in some way, reach them on their level. The majority of my students are struggling readers and are enrolled in my class so that they can have both English and Reading instruction. They work hard and appreciate whatever literature I put in front of them. They try to relate to realistic characters and their trials and triumphs. I'm working to put more high interest texts in front of them while teaching them to be better readers. My favorite book is Dr. Seuss's "Oh, The Places You'll Go!" I want my students to soar to new heights and believe in the endless possibilities, opportunities, and abilities that await them!
