Each class has 36-40 students, including special needs students with aides, and ELL students with language barriers. Students come from every socioeconomic and cultural background. They are freshman students with a variety of skill and confidence levels. The level of attentiveness and maturity varies in the students. They like to socialize and be actively involved in sports. They respond well to organized, structured lessons with planned activities and objectives. When provided with a nonthreatening environment, they feel comfortable trying new things and improving their skills, challenging themselves to grow in sport and fitness.

About my class
