At our school we service an inner city, high poverty, and trauma exposed community. Our students want to learn however they struggle to attain the tools/resources necessary to do so. These students work hard and are gaining more ground with their learning everyday. I have a large group that stays after school almost daily for an hour to continue their learning through Homework and Reading Clubs. These children power through all the adversity they face on a daily basis. They are strong and determined to learn, all they need are the tools.

About my class
