I believe that every student can learn, and will be more prosperous when they enjoy learning and are successful in their tasks. I teach in a Title 1 school with 21 energetic students that need tools to take ownership of their future. I am looking for help with fully implementing my guided math and reading centers. In centers, students are able to practice skills they are currently working on, previously learned and for some students working ahead. These centers allow students the independence to work alone, with a partner or in a small group. Centers are full of manipulatives, books, technology, and games that make learning approachable and fun. The most important thing about centers is it gives the students the power of taking control of their own learning.
