I am so lucky to be the teacher of this wonderful group of talented 1st graders. Our classroom is a place of joy where students of different backgrounds and abilities come to learn and play. They are an engaged group of learners who are curious about the world, eager to learn, and take care of each other. They are quick thinkers, problem solvers, authors, scientists, and mathematicians. At such a young age they amaze me with their knowledge and their compassion for one another. I believe that my role as a teacher is to provide tools to help my students to learn, explore, and reach their fullest potential and goals. I believe in establishing a supportive and engaging learning environment that nurtures every child's natural inclination to learn.
