Having a colorful rug will help provide my students with a warm and welcoming classroom. The learning environment will dictate how well or poorly a child will learn. A major factor in the learning environment is the teacher's role to make it warm, inviting and exciting! This classroom rug will allow my students to sit in their own personal space to create a less distracted atmosphere. My students will use this rug during whole group learning, small group learning and during literacy and math stations. Providing a diverse seating arrangement for the students will make the students feel more comfortable in the classroom.
