Scholastic News magazine is a great way to engage students in current events. It also sparks a reading interest that a student might not normally read. At the end of each Scholastic News, students have questions to answer or an activity that aligns with the articles. Scholastic News magazines will broaden students reading genres. The privacy folders will help students with taking assessments. Students will also have the option to use the privacy folder when they need a break from others. The main idea is to give students an article to read about current events in an exciting way. Students will also be able to bring the articles home and share them with their family.
