The students in my "Math Club" are some of the top performing 4th grade mathematicians in the nation. More than needing to be challenged, their "desire" to be challenged is refreshing. These are children that score in the 97th percentile and higher on standardized assessments, but they are being taught grade level mathematics and science in the classroom. They need and they desire more. And, while our school promotes and encourages differentiation, the students still feel like they are stagnant. They want to learn. They want to grow.

About my class
