My school is located in a Chicago neighborhood filled with families who come from very diverse backgrounds. There are over 600 students who speak over 25 different languages at home. The students also have very different socio-economic backgrounds, with over 70% of the students coming from low-income families. In school, the staff work hard to provide a safe and nurturing environment with a rigorous education for each of these children. Technology plays a key role in our day because it gives me the opportunity to ensure that they are working on lessons that meet their individual learning needs.

About my class
