Students in my community have a hard time getting support from home and the supplies they need to become successful. We need clipboards, crayons, pencils, scissors and other supplies. These materials will give all students an equal opportunity to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. These students are too young to have to worry about whether or not they have the supplies they need. Children learn through different styles such as visual, audio, or hands-on. Many also learn better by changing their surroundings. The clipboards will allow my students to feel free to change their environment to best fit their needs and not be bound to sitting in the desk. By providing them with dry erase markers, pencils, and crayons, the students can spend their energy focusing on the lessons at hand instead of feeling inadequate when they do not have what they need.
