School based speech and language therapy services are considered special education services. Some of my students only have a communication disorder, but many of them also have other disabilities and receive other special education services. These disabilities impact their success in the classroom. Our school is diverse, and we work with students and families from many cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our school is very collaborative, and the staff works closely together to meet all of our students' needs.
