I teach at a kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school. Many students live in transient situations. Many of them have obstacles at home every day that they must overcome. Our school's poverty rate is 59% and the free/reduced lunch rate is 48%. My students are an amazing and diverse group of children. There is English Second Language students and Special Needs students in our class. They are easy to love! They are excited to be at school. As their teacher, I strive to meet all of their academic, emotional, and personal needs.
