I am using an old iPhone and a refurbished iPad in my classroom, which I purchased with my own funds, but my students need more access to technology in order to chronicle their learning through digital portfolios. We are connected globally to students across the nation and across the globe. Using apps like Flipgrid, Seesaw, and our podcasting app, Anchor, we have forged global connections across our own state, to the Carolinas, California, Canada, and beyond. We have to pass around our technology like a hot potato, and we would love to have more tools for our journey. These tools allow students to communicate with each other, amplify their voice, discover new learning, and share their learning to home. Thank you for considering this need which will make a reach far beyond my classroom walls.
