I am the School Counselor at Liberty Elementary school. I have been in education for over 23 years at the middle and high school level. This is my third year as an Elementary School Counselor. The social and emotional needs of my students are great. A large number of them have experienced some form of trauma and have a hard time regulating their emotions. It is challenge for me as one person, to reach all of the students and address their needs. It is for that reason that I would like to create Calm down buckets for each classroom and utilize the curriculum from the Mind Up program.

About my class
