My students are in upper level Spanish language and literature classes. The expectations are high, they will write, speak, read, and listen with high proficiency. Even though they have a language lab that they use regularly, the Chromebooks will allow flexibility to use Apps in the classroom for recording and listening to authentic dialogues, speeches, and music. It's always fun to have technology in the classroom, students get excited when they see it and compare cultures with their own. Our community is made up of executive management professionals. The students are highly motivated and like to take academic challenges. They like to have discussions in the target languages that are relevant to life. They even like to review their English grammar by comparing literary terms. I like to familiarize the students with the keyboard and the special characters and accents.
