My students are eager to learn and so many of them tell me how much they love music class! They come from many different backgrounds and several countries are represented in our school! The personalities are widespread and it's fun to see different sides of the kids come out in different lessons. Kids who are shy in the dancing activities really shine when it comes to composing music or kids who barely talk in class end up coming out of their shell at a talent show. My students would much rather be playing instruments and/or singing than just talking about music. My hope is to grow our collection of instruments in the classroom so that most of our time during music class can actually be in making music!
