We are located in a low socioeconomic area. Our town has limited businesses and very few educational resources for children and adults. Our school is Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade with only about 300 students. Many of our student's parents also attended our school as children. My students are hard workers and are excited to learn. When given the opportunity to experience something new, my students jump into the activity and flourish. Providing hands-on and inquiry-based science experiments exposes my students to topics that will not only further their learning, but open up their future possibilities.
