My second graders are attracted to magnets and want to explore sticky things all around them. Yet, it's too dangerous to use some objects with them. They want to touch, smell, and explore everything in sight. I wish they had the opportunity, as long as it is safe. As a second through 5th Grade Science Lab teacher, I want my youngest students to experiment with real magnetic force and magnetic energy.
