I teach a self-contained autism class, so I am responsible for teaching all subject areas as well as social skills in one room all day. Grade levels range from kindergarten to 3rd grade, so creating opportunnities for independent engagement on all levels is always a welcomed challenge. We will use the tablets in centers during independent time so students can engage in interactive learning independently. We will use them for social skills, language development support, spelling, writing, math, Science, Social Studies, STEM projects and reward time.
