My classroom as well, as my school, consists of students from various socioeconomic and multicultural backgrounds. A number of students receive free and reduced lunch. We also have a large number of English Language Learners. Another subgroup gracing our halls, are students who are part of the Trauma Intervention Program(TIP), students who fall on the Autism Spectrum, as well as Special Education students with varying Special Education Disabilities. All these subgroups are integrated into the general education classroom. My classroom consists of students who receive free and reduced lunch, English Language Learners, Special Education students, as well as Trauma Intervention students.
