Coding works all parts of brain. My students would love to have an exciting and creative way to learn key foundational skills like problem solving, basic sequencing, and following directions. Having a fun and interesting way to 'think' through problems would allow my students to learn in a way that surprises them and is different every time. My Autistic students are drawn to computer science. Autistic students are more comfortable with the logical, predictable and visual aspects of coding. Having a Dash and Dot Robot available for them will give them a desire to use high level thinking skills and will show them that they do not need to not shy away from new concepts.
