My students come from different backgrounds and have varied ability levels. Although they are only 8 and 9 years old, they make connections to classroom discussions as if they are experts. My favorite time of all is when I can just listen and let them build on their own life experiences. Our school includes grades 3-6 with 7 classrooms in each grade. Teachers in each grade level plan together on a weekly basis sharing ideas to create the best opportunities for our kids to learn. There is great pride felt by staff, students, and families as we work together to provide enriching experiences in our school community.

About my class
