I am a reading intervention teacher for 1st and 2nd grade. I try to encourage my students to read everyday! I provide them an exciting environment that promotes reading! I would like to create an even better classroom environment for them by introducing alternative seating as opposed to using the normal small chairs. As first and second grade students they have a lot of energy and having a variety of seating arrangements such as stools and balance balls and pillows for our library! These will help them channel that energy in to focusing on the task at hand, READING!
