"Music doesn't lie. If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music." -Jimi Hendrix. As the Pre K - 8th grade General Music teacher at a terrific school in Back of the Yards, South Side, Chicago, I feel privileged to teach nearly 500 vibrant kids. I believe Music gives students the opportunity to sample rhythm and voices around the world, as well as create their own rhythm and voice. Thank you for providing these students with opportunities to experience the many joys of Music!
