Students need to develop an early interest in STEM in order to provide a necessary foundation for success in those STEM courses later in school. I want to provide 6 ozobots as an opportunity for these students to learn coding and robotics alongside learning and applying the standards in math, social studies, and reading. I also want students to build critical thinking skills, creativity, and collaboration as they work with partners to measure, draw angles, create intersecting lines, create maps to scale to model westward expansion, and use ozobots to locate features on maps. Tell me I forget - Teach me I remember - Involve me and I learn!
