In kindergarten, we love to play and learn while exploring the world around us. During social distancing, the students in my kindergarten classroom engage in self-directed literacy and math centers each day while spreading out to remain safe in our environment. These floor cushions will help my students find cozy spots around our classroom while engaging in self-directed literacy and math centers to support and enhance their learning. During centers, the students will choose a cushion and find a floor spot in the classroom to engage with their literacy and math center. Also, these cushions will be used for students to sit on the floor during their small literacy and math intervention groups. These cushions will also provide a flexible seating option for students who need more choice in their day!

About my class
