My students are seventh graders who rise to the challenge when given opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge in new and creative ways. I also started an environmental book club last year with a group of high achieving and motivated students. This year, even though they are no longer in my classes, they want to continue this initiative and bring about change in our school, local community, and broader community. Their passion and motivation is inspiring to me and the community and I hope I am able to help guide them to make a difference!
