I teach art to a group of Pre-k to 5th Grade students that come from a poverty stricken area. We have a wonderful staff that is dedicated to teaching engaging lessons and pouring their heart and souls into being the very best. Currently, I am servicing over 500 students in the building with very little funding and resources. We do the best with what we have, but I'm always trying to improve the art room in every way possible! Our students all receive free lunch and for many, coming to school is the best part of their day. I do everything I can to make them really enjoy coming to art class! But sometimes it can be overwhelming to have such large classes with no way to equally share a demonstration or model a technique.
