Every day kids come to class from diverse backgrounds with greater struggles than children should ever have to deal with. Some come to school hungry, tired from taking care of their siblings, and some come without necessary supplies. Many of our students are unable to do research at home, look for homework help, or just find answers to questions in the world. Many kids have little or no experience with computers, tablets, or technology in general, even though we are in such a technology-driven time. The aptitude of these students is infinite, but these resources could greatly impact their performance in school and in life. We have a charismatic group of young, enthusiastic inquirers, ready to learn. They just need a key to open the door to the limitless information of the Internet, apps, and other technologies.
