While conducting Guided Reading centers, it is imperative for students to have educational and team building centers. Several of my students do not get read to at home and working together is not enforced. Although we read whole group, it is highly important for students to listen to books more than once as a team! The listening center will encourage students to work together, stay on task, and emerge in literature. The magnetic center will challenge students to also work together as well as build fine motor and thinking skills. The leveled books will be used in a teacher directed center to increase independent reading and fluency. Your donation to this project will help to support the needs of every student in my classroom regardless of their level!
