In our classroom, mini-lessons are done in our meeting area. We create many class anchor charts to help us learn and remember new skills. The size of this easel will make it easier for all students to see from any position on the floor. The dry erase feature will allow both teacher and students to work out problems and show thinking while still being able to erase misconceptions. The fact that it is magnetic makes it perfect for holding our chart paper and using magnetic manipulatives, especially base ten blocks in mathematics. This easel also features storage in the back for holding supplies needed during lessons and markers for the white board.
