I teach 20 students in a hands-on early childhood classroom. Our classroom is in a rural community where a large percentage of our population qualifies for free and reduced price lunch. Despite facing monetary obstacles, my students come to school with a positive and ready to learn attitude. However, they do not always have the opportunities outside of school to have positive and cooperative social interactions with peers their age. I want to provide them with as many opportunities to help foster their social skills as I possibly can.

About my class
