I teach in a NYC public school, which has a total of about 1500 students in grades pre-k through 6. I am an elementary classroom ESL teacher. I have a class of 32 students, who are all at different levels of their English language acquisition. Not only do I have to prepare my students for the NYS exams, they also need to take the NYSESLAT.
