My kiddos are in grades 1 through 5. They are held to high expectations just like everyone else in their grades, the difference being that they come to my resource room for a little extra support. They are great kids who need some help focusing and calming their bodies so that they can meet those high expectations. My students are hard working, respectful and funny! Their humor can brighten up anyone's day, and it helps them get through tricky activities like multi-step problem solving in math or writing a narrative-- tough stuff! These students have some sensory needs that can sometimes get in the way of their drive and attention.
