My students are amazing children, eager to learn and please. They are a bright young group that sometimes need a little extra help and pushing to get them where they need to be. The parents of my class are all very involved, however, most of the parents work and the students go home with a grandparent or aunt or uncle that speak Spanish and may not be able to help with the reading homework or math word problems. Most of my students are bilingual and are truly gifted. There is a wonderful support at school for them to foster their bilingualism while pushing them to grow.
