I teach 2nd grade at a magnet school in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. My school, Sabin Dual Language Magnet School, specializes in a dual language program from K-8 as well as a world language program offered as an elective. My 2nd graders are unique and innovative learners. They are hard-working and happy young individuals who enjoy walking into my classroom each morning. Many of them do not live near school and are bused in from neighboring areas such as the west and south side of Chicago. My goal is to provide the best education and learning experiences where they not only learn academics but positive values and relationships.
